We rent out a fully specced, Kruger-permitted Mahindra 2.2 mHawk S4 4x4 open safari vehicle (OSV), ideal for guided tours and game drives.

• Daily Rate: R2,000 per day (vehicle rental only)
• Weekly Rate: R10,500 (discounted daily rate)
• Full Kit Add-On: R250 per rental (includes hotbox, coffee cups, coffee/sugar/tea containers, snack container, blankets and ponchos)
• We also offer custom discounts for longer rental periods—please contact us to discuss your needs.

Only qualified guides and tour operators with a valid guiding card and Professional Driving Permit (PDP) can rent and operate the vehicle.

Bookings can be made by contacting us directly. We recommend booking in advance to secure availability, but we do accept last-minute bookings if the vehicle is available.

You’ll need to submit our completed Rental Form and Rental Agreement, plus copies of your valid guiding card and PDP. If you’re an operator with multiple drivers, we’ll need this information for each driver.

All forms are available for download on our Forms page. You can fill them out and email them to us at knpexplorersosv@gmail.com or you can bring them along with on the day of your rental.

Yes. Full refunds are given for cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance. Cancellations made within 24 hours receive a 50% refund. No-shows are non-refundable.

We offer daily rental options, with discounts for multi-day bookings.

Our open safari vehicle can comfortably seat up to 10 guests, making it ideal for small group tours and private game drives.

No. This vehicle is strictly for use within Kruger National Park. It may be driven on tar and sand roads inside the park only. Off-roading and use in private reserves is not permitted.
